DES:djk 1~,L~/95 (002/RESO) <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> 11/6/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12629 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE AND <br /> INSTALLATION OF NEC DIGITAL REMOTE UNIT (DRU) <br /> TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be <br />published for the purchase and installation of NEC Digital Remote Unit (DRU) <br />Telephone Equipment at the Red Morton Community Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Com-Aid, Inc. of Pleasanton, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid thereof; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Com-Aid, Inc., in the total amount of Nineteen Thousand Six <br />Hundred Seventy-five and 82/100 Dollars ($19,675.82), computed in accordance <br />with said bidder's proposal dated October 24,1995 for the sale and installation of <br />NEC Digital Remote Unit (DRU) Telephone Equipment to the City of Redwood <br />City, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the sale and <br />installation of said telephone equipment to the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
