DES:djk ~/26/95 (025/41) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 10/9/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12620 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR FIRE STATIONS NO. 11 <br /> AND 12 FUEL SYSTEM REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT PROJECT; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12531 adopted July 24, <br />1995, this Council authorized advertisement for bids for Fire <br />Stations No. 11 and 12 Fuel System Removal and Replacement <br />Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, five bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that said bids <br />(including the apparent lowest responsible bid) had exceeded the <br />amount estimated for the Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to <br /> <br />exercise its reserved right to reject all bids for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> All bids received in response to advertisement for bids made <br />pursuant to Resolution No. 12531, adopted July 24, 1995, for Fire <br />Stations No. 11 and 12 Fuel System Removal and Replacement <br />Project are, and each of them hereby is, rejected, the City Clerk <br />is hereby authorized and directed to return to each bidder the <br />bid security furnished by said bidders in accordance with the <br />Instructions to Bidders for said Project. <br /> <br /> <br />
