--0 R I G I N A L DES:djk 09/25/95 002/1 <br /> <br /> 10/9/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12615 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR REPLACEMENT PUMP FOR <br /> THE FIFTH AVENUE STORMWATER PUMP STATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for the <br />pumhase of a replacement pump for the Fifth Avenue Stormwater Pump Station in the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Johnston Pump Company of Antioch, California, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid <br /> <br />of said Johnston Pump Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Johnston Pump Company of Antioch, California for the sale of <br />a pump for the Fifth Avenue Stormwater Pump Station to the City of Redwood City in <br />the amount of Fifteen Thousand Seven Hundred Five and No/100 Dollars <br />($15,705.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated April 12, <br />1995, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br />lowest responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for <br />said pumhase. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of Johnston Pump <br />Company, is, and each of them are, hereby waived. <br /> <br /> <br />
