FXS:mgl ~/28/95 (052/40) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/28/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12597 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR COST ALLOCATION RELATING TO THE <br /> RECONSTRUCTION OF WINSLOW STREET BETWEEN MARSHALL <br /> STREET AND BREWSTER AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo proposes to advertise for <br /> <br />bids for the reconstruction of Winslow Street between Marshall <br />Street and Brewster Avenue (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County has prepared plans and specifications <br />for the Project and has requested the City of Redwood City to <br />share the costs of said reconstruction since a portion thereof is <br />located within the corporate limits of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed a proposed agreement <br />between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City <br />pursuant to which the City shall pay the County its proportionate <br /> <br /> share of the costs of construction of the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Cost Sharing Agreement for <br /> the Reconstruction of Winslow Street Between Marshall Street and <br /> Brewster Avenue (form dated July - 1995), by and between the <br /> County of San Mateo, a political subdivision of the State of <br /> California and the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation <br /> of the State of California, pursuant to which the City shall <br /> compensate the County for its proportionate share of the costs of <br /> the Project, a copy of which agreement is on file in the Office <br /> of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the <br /> <br /> <br />
