FXS:mge n8/04/95 (053m/40) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/14/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12589 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC. <br /> <br />(ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR REDWOOD CITY SENIORS) <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. ("Contractor") conducts <br />an adult day care program for elderly residents of the City of <br />Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Sixteen <br />Thousand Seven and No/100 Dollars ($16,007.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br /> presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br /> approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. <br />(Adult Day Support Services For Redwood City Seniors)", (form <br />dated 08/04/95), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br /> in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br /> <br />
