FXS:mge ~8/04/95 (053o/40) <br /> <br /> -- 0 R I G I N A L ~/14/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12581 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH ELLIPSE PENINSULA AIDS SERVICE <br /> <br /> (SOUTH COUNTY AIDS CASE WORK PROGRAM) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Service ("Contractor") <br />conducts a housing assistance program for residents of the City <br />of Redwood City (the "Program") with HIV related disabilities; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty-Three <br />Thousand Seven Hundred Eleven and No/100 Dollars ($23,711.00) <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Ellipse Peninsula Aids <br />Service South County Aids Case Work Program", (form dated <br />08/04/95), by and between the City of Redwood City and Ellipse <br />Peninsula Aids Service, a copy of which agreement is on file in <br /> <br /> <br />
