FXS:mge ~q/04/95 (0531/40) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/14/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12580 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE <br /> OF THE DISABLED <br /> <br /> (HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY <br /> MODIFICATION PROGRAM) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled <br /> ("Contractor") conducts a housing accessibility modification <br /> program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the <br /> "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty Thousand <br />and No/100 Dollars ($30,000.00) from its Community Development <br />Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Center for the <br />Independence of the Disabled (Housing Accessibility Modification <br />Program)", (form dated 08/04/95), by and between the City of <br />Redwood City and Center for the Independence of the Disabled, a <br /> <br /> <br />
