DES:djk ~/27/95 (009/41) <br /> <br /> ~ 0 R I G I N A L - 8/14/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12572 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF <br /> SHELVING AND ACCESSORIES; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase and installation of shelving and <br />accessories at the Fair Oaks Branch Library; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Ross McDonald Company of Livermore, California <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br />desire of this Council to accept the bid of said The Ross <br />McDonald Company; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of The Ross McDonald Company for the sale and <br />installation of shelving and accessories to the City of Redwood <br />City in the amount of Eighteen Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-eight <br />and No/100 Dollars ($18,768.00), computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated July 18, 1995, is hereby accepted, and <br />said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement <br />for said purchase and installation. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br />The Ross McDonald Company is, and each of them are, hereby <br />waived. <br /> <br /> <br />
