DES:djk ~9/0t/95 (011/41) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/14/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12571 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> SEVEN (7) POLICE PATROL VEHICLES UNDER THE COOPERATIVE <br /> PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE BID <br /> #F9406-64 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Sunnyvale, bid #F9406-64 includes a <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br />the opportunity to purchase police vehicles from S & C Ford of <br />San Francisco, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Sunnyvale conforms <br />to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />purchase seven (7) police patrol vehicles from S & C Ford <br />pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the City of <br /> <br />Sunnyvale Bid #F9406-64; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br />of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of seven (7) police <br />patrol vehicles from S & C Ford in the total amount of One <br />Hundred Fifty-two Thousand One Hundred Eighty-five and 25/100 <br />Dollars ($152,185.25) pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase <br /> <br /> <br />
