DES:djk ~/28/95 (010/41) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/14/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12570 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ONE <br /> PARKING ENFORCEMENT VEHICLE UNDER THE COOPERATIVE <br /> PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF SAN FRANCISCO CITY AND COUNTY <br /> BID #B002287 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, San Francisco City and County bid 9B002287 includes <br />a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public <br />agencies the opportunity to purchase parking enforcement vehicles <br />from Municipal Maintenance Equipment, Inc.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of San Francisco City and County <br />conforms to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />purchase one (1) parking enforcement vehicle from Municipal <br />Maintenance Equipment, Inc. pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase <br /> <br /> Provision of San Francisco City and County Bid 9B002287; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) parking <br /> enforcement vehicle from Municipal Maintenance Equipment, Inc. in <br /> the total amount of Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-six <br /> <br /> <br />
