DES:djk 07/13/95 (017/39) <br /> <br /> ~ 0 R I G I N A L 7~4/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12562 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE SLURRY SEAL PROJECT <br /> 1995; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; <br /> AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12476, adopted May 22, <br />1995, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Slurry Seal <br />Project 1995, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Graham Contractors, Inc. of San Jose, California, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br />desire of this Council to accept said bid of Graham Contractors, <br />Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Graham Contractors, Inc., in the amount of <br /> One Hundred Five Thousand Thirty-three and 52/100 Dollars <br /> ($105,033.52), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> dated June 28, 1995 for the Slurry Seal Project 1995, is hereby <br /> accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> 07/13/95) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California and Graham Contractors, <br /> Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the Office of the <br /> City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br /> <br /> <br />
