DES:djk 0~/14/95 (006/41) <br /> ~-0 R I G I N A n 7/24/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12561 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR COMMUNICATIONS CONDUITS <br /> FOR THE RED MORTON COMMUNITY CENTER; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for Communications Conduits for the Red Morton <br />Community Center in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation four bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the <br />Department of Community Development, Engineering Division; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, S.G. Barber Construction, Inc. of Belmont, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this council to accept said bid of S.G. <br /> <br />Barber Construction, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of S.G. Barber Construction, Inc., in the <br />amount of Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-eight and No/100 <br />Dollars ($19,998.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's <br />proposal dated July 6, 1995, for Communications Conduits for the <br />Red Morton Community Center in the City of Redwood City, is <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br />07/14/95) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California and S.G. Barber <br />Construction, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br /> <br />
