FXS :mgl 07/19/95 (049/40) <br />~ _ 0 R I G I N A L - 7/24/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12559 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE <br /> AGREEMENT OF TIDE AND SUBMERGE LANDS FOR OPERATION AND <br /> MAINTENANCE PURPOSES <br /> <br /> (A PORTION OF BELMONT SLOUGH) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Lease No. PRC 5740.9 by <br /> and between the State of California, acting by and through the <br /> State Lands Commission ("Lessor") and the City of Redwood City, a <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California ("Lessee") <br /> providing for a lease over a portion of Tide and Submerged Lands <br /> in and along the Belmont Slough for the purpose of operation and <br /> maintenance of two saltwater intake pipelines and improve water <br /> circulation of the water lagoon system at the Redwood Shores <br /> Peninsula, Redwood City, California for a term commencing May 1, <br /> 1995 and expiring April 30, 2025, a copy-of which lease agreement <br /> is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is <br /> hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby <br /> authorized and directed to execute and to attest thereto, <br /> respectively, said lease agreement for and on behalf of the City <br /> of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
