<br />01/14/2008 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1130-342 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AMENDING ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO. 22 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, <br />THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, TO REZONE <br />PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE PENINSULA PARK PRECISE PLAN <br />AREA, AS FURTHER DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, FROM THE <br />EXISTING ZONING DISTRICTS TO THE PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act regulations, on July <br /> <br />8, 2003, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City adopted a Final Environmental <br /> <br />Impact Report for the Marina Shores Village ("MSV") Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 13, 2007, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City considered the "Addendum to the 2003 Environmental Impact Report for the Marina Shores <br /> <br />Village Project" (Addendum); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on November 13, 2007, the Planning <br /> <br />Commission of the City of Redwood City recommended to the City Council, the rezoning of the <br /> <br />properties located within the Peninsula Park Precise Plan Area, from the existing General <br /> <br />Commercial ("CG") Zoning District (properties identified as Assessor's Parcel Nos. 052-531- <br /> <br />020, 052-531-030, 052-531-050, 052-531-070, 052-531-100, 052-531-110 and 052-531-120), <br /> <br />as shown on Exhibit "A" a map entitled "Existing Zoning Map", to the Planned Community (P) <br /> <br />Zoning District, as shown on Exhibit "B", a map entitled "Proposed Precise Plan Zoning Map", <br /> <br />both maps are attached hereto and incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having reviewed the recommendation of the Planning <br /> <br />Commission and having considered the evidence, including the Addendum to the 2003 <br /> <br />Environmental Impact Report for the Marina Shores Village Project, as well as the originally <br /> <br />certified Final Environmental Impact Report for the Marina Shores Village Project, received at <br /> <br />the public hearing duly noticed and held for said proposed rezoning, finds that the proposed <br /> <br />Atty/Ord/Ord.295 <br />121207 <br /> <br />1130-342 <br />FORMERLY MUFF #613 <br />
