I I i <br /> DES:djk fl7/07/95 (042/34) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 7/17/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12530 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 1995-1996 COST SHARED <br /> SIDEWALK REPAIR PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12468, adopted May 22, <br />1995, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1995-1996 Cost <br />Shared Sidewalk Repair Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, six bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, J.J.R. Construction, Inc. of San Mateo, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to J.J.R. Construction, <br />Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of J.J.R. Construction, Inc., in the amount of <br />One Hundred Thirty-six Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-five and <br />No/100 Dollars ($136,795.00), computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated June 20, 1995, for the 1995-1996 Cost <br />Shared Sidewalk Repair Project, is hereby accepted and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
