09/14/2020 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15885 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION AND <br />WAGE AND SALARY PLAN TO ESTABLISH THE NEW <br />CLASSIFICATION OF ASSISTANT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />AND TRANSPORTATION DIRECTOR <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that this classification be established <br />to meet the current and future operational needs for the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the classification specifications as described in Exhibit "A" were <br />prepared by Human Resources staff in consultation with department management, to <br />ensure the foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br />WHEREAS, Human Resources staff reached agreement with department <br />management on the recommended salary range as listed in Exhibit "B." <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2. The City's Classification and Wage and Salary Plan is hereby amended to <br />establish the classification of Assistant Community Development and Transportation <br />Director as listed in Exhibits "A" and "B", and as listed in the full salary plan attached as <br />Exhibit "C". <br />3.
