DES:djk 0~/16/95 (140/39) <br /> ~-- 0 R I G I N A L 6/26/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12506 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF <br /> PARTS TO REPAIR THE MARINA SEWAGE LIFT STATION PUMP AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, <br />this Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br />Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to <br />competitive bidding for the hereinafter described purchase; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Services Department requires the <br />repair of the Marina Sewage Lift Station Pump to prevent sewerage <br />backup and potential spilling of sewage into the storm drains in <br />the Marina area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase and <br />installation of parts to repair the Marina Sewage Lift Station <br />Pump in an amount not to exceed Twenty Thousand and No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($20,000.00); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby approves the purchase and <br /> installation of parts to repair the Marina Sewage Lift Station <br /> Pump in the City of Redwood City from PACO Pumps, Inc. of <br /> Oakland, California in an amount not to exceed Twenty Thousand <br /> and No/100 Dollars ($20,000.00). <br /> <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all documents required in connection with the purchase <br /> and installation authorized herein (in form approved by the City <br /> Attorney) for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
