(602) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on November 23, 2020. <br />Present: Council Members Aguirre, Bain, Borgens, Hale, Masur, Reddy and Mayor <br />Howard <br />M/S Reddy and Bain to waive the first reading and introduce Zoning Ordinance <br />amendments to Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) requirements and miscellaneous <br />provisions, in order to comply with State law, and to address permitted ADU types, side <br />and rear setbacks, floor area, lot coverage, a maximum 16 -foot height for detached ADUs <br />and attached ADUs within rear setback area, and short-term rental regulations, with the <br />amendment to Section 45.2.0 to remove language that currently states that second story <br />Accessory Dwelling Units are applicable to Architectural Permits, as well as to allow <br />existing short-term rentals for ADUs registered with the City prior to January 1, 2020. <br />Motion passes 4-3 by roll call vote, <br />di sen 'ng. <br />Pamela Aguilar, MC <br />City Clerk <br />with Council Members Hale, Aguirre and Masur <br />
