3/12/01 <br />0RIC;Ii4AL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14167 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PENINSULA ASSOCIATION FOR <br />RETARDED CHILDREN AND ADULTS (PARCA) <br />(ALAMEDA HOUSE RENOVATION AND REPAIRS) <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Association for Retarded Children and Adults <br />(Contractor) conducts a group home facility for adults with developmental disabilities and <br />severe behavioral disorders who are residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Two Hundred Thousand and no /100 Dollars <br />($200,000.00) from its HOME funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, (Agreement for Peninsula Association for <br />Retarded Children and Adults (PARCA)) (form dated 3/6/01), by and between the City of <br />Redwood City and Peninsula Association for Retarded Children and Adults (PARCA), a <br />3/6/01 <br />
