O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14176 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION <br />OF SMED OFFICE FURNITURE AT CITY HALL AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN <br />CONNECTION THEREWITH <br />3/26/01 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, this <br />Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 of the Code <br />of the City of Redwood City relating to competitive bidding for the hereinafter <br />described purchase; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Community Development Services located <br />at 1017 Middlefield Road requires the addition of new fabric panels, a desk, <br />various work surfaces, overhead storage, lateral files, a pedestal and <br />miscellaneous hardware ( "SMED Office Furniture ") to match the existing furniture <br />previously installed when City Hall was constructed; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase and installation <br />of SMED Office Furniture at City Hall in an amount not to exceed Nineteen <br />Thousand Seven Hundred Seven and 23/100 Dollars ($19,707.23); <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.
