<br />CGM:mf 10/29/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N Q. 8 99 6 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />NO\} 2 198\ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />WATER SAMPLING AND TESTING FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY; RETURNING SECURITY DEPOSITS; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE FURNISHING THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8922, adopted September <br /> <br />28, 1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />water sampling and testing for the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Scientific Cleaner and Laboratory, Mountain View, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Scientific Cleaner and Laboratory; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Scientific Cleaner and Laboratory in the amount <br /> <br />of Four Hundred Thirty-nine and 75/100 Dollars ($439.75), in <br /> <br />accordance with the bidder's proposal (containing a per item <br /> <br />price and a frequency of performance schedule) dated October 1, 1981, <br /> <br />for the furnishing of water sampling and testing for the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, in accordance with those contract documents approved <br /> <br />for the performance of said work, is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsbile bidder <br /> <br />for said \vork. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 10/29/81) by <br /> <br />and between the City of Redwood City and Scientific Cleaner and <br /> <br />8996 <br />
