CGM:djg-c 10/26/81 RES 0 L UTI 0 N !i Q.--8JUl5- ORIGINAL NOV 2 1881 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT FOR 1980-81; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 8966, adopted September 21, 1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the Water Main Replacement Project for 1980-81 in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the performance of said vlJOrk and filed with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, L.J. Krzich Pipeline Engineering Company, Inc., San Jose, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said Company; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of L. J. Krzich Pipeline Engineering Company, Inc. in the amount of Four Hundred Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty- seven and No/IOO Dollars ($418,887.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal, for the Water Main Replacement Project for 1980-81, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. 2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain agreement entitled "Agreement" by and between the City of Redwood City and L.J. Krzich Pipeline Engineering Company, Inc. for the performance of said work in accordance with the abovementioned bid 8995
