<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />CONTRACT <br /> <br />City of Redwood City <br /> <br />Site Address: <br />Redwood Shores Community Library <br />399 Marine Parkway <br />Redwood City, CA <br /> <br />PROCUREMENT AND INSTALLATION <br />OF FURNITURE AND FURNISHINGS FOR <br />THE REDWOOD SHORES COMMUNITY LIBRARY PROJECT <br /> <br />This Agreement is made this ..fjday of , 2008 between the CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corpor i n in the State of California ("Owner" or "City"), <br />and PIVOT INTERIORS, INC., a California corporation C ctor"). The work described in Section 1 <br />below shall be performed in accordance with the all plans, specifications and other contract documents <br />attached to or incorporated into this Contract. <br /> <br /> <br />In February 2008, the City issued a Request for Proposals for the procurement and installation of <br />furniture and furnishings for the Redwood Shores Community Library (the "Work"). <br /> <br />The following documents are incorporated into and made part of this Contract by this reference: <br /> <br />. Request for Proposals dated February 25, 2008 <br />. Contractor's Proposal Form dated May 6, 2008 <br />. Schedule of Work <br />. Noncollusion Affidavit <br />. Contractor's certificate regarding workers compensation <br />. Certificate of Insurance and Endorsements <br /> <br />The documents shall be referred to collectively as the "Contract Documents". <br /> <br />SECTION 1 - SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, supervision, labor, materials, tools, supplies, <br />equipment, plant, services, engineering, testing and/or any other act or thing required to diligently <br />and fully perform and complete the work described in the Request for Proposals. <br /> <br />Contractor shall comply with all requirements of the Contract Documents. Where there is a conflict <br />between the requirements of the several Contract Documents, the more stringent requirements shall <br />govern. <br /> <br />Contractor's scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: <br /> <br />. Submit all required samples, product data, certificates, operations and maintenance instructions, <br />guarantees, and other submittals no later than five (5) days after the date the City issues a Notice <br />to Proceed. <br /> <br />. Protect all materials to be used in the Work in accordance with the specifications. <br />
