<br />CGM:mf 10/1/81 <br />CGM:mf 10/2/81R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 8-9-1 5 <br /> <br />OCT 5 1981 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SALE OF SURPLUS CITY <br />PROPERTY (EL TORO SAILBOATS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council, pursuant to Resolution No. 8937, <br /> <br />adopted August 10, 1981, declared 6 El Toro sailboats surplus and <br /> <br />authorized their sale in accordance with the Charter of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the highest bidder for such sailboats is the <br /> <br />Golden Gate Chapter of the American Red Cross; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That this Council hereby awards 6 El Toro sailboats <br /> <br />delcared surplus as referenced above to the Golden Gate Chapter of the <br /> <br />American Red Cross for the sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Ten and <br /> <br />No/IOO Dollars ($1,510.00), which amount exceeds the appraised value <br /> <br />of such sailboats by the City Assessor. <br /> <br />2.
