RICCI <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council was saddened to learn of the passing <br /> <br />of Bruno J. Ricci on August 30, 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bruno Ricci, while pursuing a full-time career <br /> <br /> <br />with Pacific Gas and Electric Company, worked for Redwood City's <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Department for over 30 years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bruno umpired softball games, ran softball tournaments <br /> <br />for the City, and, as Night Custodian, handled night time activities <br />at the Community Activities Building; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bruno was loved and respected not only by those with <br /> <br />whom he worked but by the public whom he served; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council does hereby express its profound sadness upon <br /> <br />the passing of Bruno J. Ricci, and does further express its <br /> <br />condolences to the family of Bruno Ricci on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and its citizens. <br /> <br />2.
