<br />07/28/2008 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14879 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />REQUESTING LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION <br />APPROVAL FOR EXTENSION OF SEWER SERVICE OUTSIDE <br />JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARIES PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT <br />CODE SECTION 56133 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") has provided sewer service to the <br /> <br />existing residence at 1340 Edgewood Road, Unincorporated San Mateo County, <br /> <br />California (APN 058-030-030), which is outside the City's jurisdictional boundaries but <br /> <br />within the City's sphere of influence and the City's sewer service area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the original lot at 1340 Edgewood Road is currently being <br /> <br />subdivided into two parcels with one existing residence located on Parcel 1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Development of Parcel 2 will require a new sewer connection and <br /> <br />service from the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property owner of 1340 Edgewood Road, Unincorporated San <br /> <br />Mateo County, California (APN 058-030-030) has requested City sewer service to 1340 <br /> <br />Edgewood Road, Unincorporated San Mateo County, Parcel 2 ; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is processing an application for proposed <br /> <br />subdivision and new single family home that requires sewer service from the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this project is exempt from State CEQA Guidelines. (Section <br /> <br />15303(d) of Guidelines) <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS, <br /> <br />14879 <br />MUFF # 802 <br />
