<br />MINUTE ORDER <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />September 8. 2008 <br />MO. 08-181 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: September 9,2008 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Public Works Services Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2008-2009 Utility Trench Repair Service. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1 F (304) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on September 8, 2008. <br />Present: Council Members Aguirre, Bain, Hartnett, Ira, Pierce, Vice Mayor Howard and <br />Mayor Foust <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motions were made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />M/S Aguirre/Hartnett to (1) approve the contract documents and award the <br />contract for the Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Utility Trench Repair Service to the lowest <br />responsible bidder, Golden State Utility Company, of Ceres, CA for their low bid <br />of $233,150; (2) authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount up <br />to 10% if necessary; and, (3) authorize the City Manager to approve up to four <br />subsequent extensions of one year periods or parts thereof in an amount not to <br />exceed five percent above the previous Agreement year. <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by all those present. <br /> <br /> <br />Dora Wong <br />Deputy City Clerk <br />
