MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> March 22, 1999 <br /> MO. 99-044 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: March 30, 1999 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Community Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT Discussion Regarding San Carlos Airport Development/Master Plan <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on March 22, 1999. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Claire, Hartnett,Ira, Jordan, Leipzig,Vice Mayor Ruskin and <br /> Mayor Howard <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> M/S Hartnett/Leipzig for Mayor to write a letter stating that it is the Redwood City <br /> Council's position is that the Supervisors of San Marco County not approve anything <br /> that would serve to increase traffic or allow heavier and noisier aircraft, to the extent <br /> that no safety features be used to increase the weight capacity and to review and <br /> implement to the full extent that the County can, adding enhancement of and <br /> improve noise abatement procedures for flight path violations by pilots. The motion <br /> passed by majority roll call vote with Council Member Claire voting no. (204) <br /> <br /> <br />
