<br />10/13/2008 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14899 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NEW JOB CLASSIFICATIONS FOR THE <br />POSITIONS OF LIBRARY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN <br />AND LIBRARY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR AND <br />APPROVE REVISIONS TO THE UTILITIES SPECIALIST AND WATER <br />CONTROL SPECIALIST JOB CLASSIFICATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, from time to time, departments request new employee positions, <br /> <br />revisions to current job descriptions or new job classifications depending upon the <br /> <br />changing needs of city departments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Library department has requested two new job classifications of <br /> <br />Library Information Technology Technician and Library Information Technology <br /> <br />Coordinator and the Public Works department has requested revisions to two existing <br /> <br />job classifications of Utilities Worker and Utilities Specialist; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department has prepared and the City <br /> <br />Manager has reviewed and recommends the new job classifications of Library <br /> <br />Information Technology Technician and Library Information Technology Coordinator <br /> <br />that would more fully describe the scope of duties performed by the current incumbents; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department has prepared and the City <br /> <br />Manager has reviewed and recommends revised job descriptions for the Utilities Worker <br /> <br />and Utilities Specialist job classifications that would more fully describe the scope of <br /> <br />duties performed by the current incumbents; and <br /> <br />Atty/Reso/Reso.1858 <br />092908 <br /> <br />Resolution # 14899 <br />Muff # 901 <br />
