RESOLUTION NO. 14197 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000 -2001 <br />CIVIC FACILITIES PAINTING PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />4/23/01 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 14153, adopted February 26, <br />2001, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Fiscal Year 2000 -2001 Civic <br />Facilities Painting Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, seven bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Metro Structural Painting of San Francisco, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />award said bid to Metro Structural Painting; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.The bid of Metro Structural Painting in the amount of Seventy -nine <br />Thousand Eight Hundred and No /100 Dollars ($79,800.00), computed in <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated March 28, 2001 for Fiscal Year 2000- <br />2001 Civic Facilities Painting Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br />2.
