<br />~~. . <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CGM:wb 6/3/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8875 <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br />JUN 1 5 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR REPLACEMENT <br />OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROLLERS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />specifications for the replacement of Traffic Signal Controllers <br /> <br />at Veterans Boulevard and Brewster Avenue, and at the intersection <br /> <br />of Industrial Way, Whipple Avenue, and Winslow Street in the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the same and <br /> <br />authorize and direct the City Clerk to call for bids for replace- <br /> <br />ment of Traffic Signal Controllers at the aforementioned locations; <br /> <br />NOvJ, THEREFORE ; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain specifications entitled, "General Specifica- <br /> <br />tions and Special provisions for Replacement - Traffic Signal <br /> <br />Controllers," prepared in the office of the Department of Public <br /> <br />Works, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the replacement of the Traffic Signal <br /> <br />Controllers at the above mentioned locations in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, in accordance with the specifications therefor, <br /> <br />said advertisement to be in the form of that certain "Notice <br /> <br />to Contractors" set forth in the above mentioned specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />887 5 <br />
