MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> May 18, 1998 <br /> MO. 98-135 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: May 20, 1998 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Community Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Route 84 (Bayfront Expressway) Extension: Marsh Road to Seaport <br /> Boulevard/Woodside Road (702) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on May 18, 1998. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Bain, Claire, Hartnett, Ira, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Howard <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> M/S: LEIPZIG/IRA TO ACCEPT STAFF'S FIVE RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> <br /> 1) That the design for the entire Measure "A" project (Bay~ont Expressway, <br /> Woodside Road Interchange, Woodside Road improvements, but excluding <br /> Maple Street Interchange) be considered as a single improvement, and the <br /> funding for the project be identified; <br /> <br /> 2) If the Measure "A" project endorsed in Recommendation No. 1 above is not <br /> feasible or can not be funded, then Woodside Road/101 Interchange <br /> improvements should be funded and constructed as Phase 1; <br /> <br /> 3) That the design include provisions for storm drainage which will reduce the <br /> flooding potential on each side of the freeway. The minimum design <br /> should be for a 100-year storm; <br /> <br /> 4) That convenient bicycle access be provided across the Bayshore Freeway; <br /> and <br /> <br /> <br />
