MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP MEETING <br /> <br /> JANUARY 31, 1998 <br /> MO. 98-037 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: February 4, 1998 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attomey <br /> Council <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Council Meeting to begin at 7:00 p.m. (205) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on January 31, 1998. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembcrs Claire, HarmeR, Ira, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Howard <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> City Manager Everett suggested a trial period with closed sessions <br /> beginning at 5:30 p.m., which would take discipline by staff and the <br /> Council, and the Council Meetings beginning at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Council Members discussed getting public input into the proposed 7:00 <br /> p.m. starting time. <br /> <br /> When Facilitator Reeves asked if anyone objected to the 7:00 p.m. start, <br /> only audience member Pauline Truscelli answered "Seven is OK!" <br /> Facilitator Reeves determined there was consensus on the Council to <br /> begin the Council Meetings at 7:00 p.m. (205) <br /> <br />Arlyn C.
