AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM - YOUTH INTERVENTION <br /> <br /> (BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF THE PENINSULA) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~.~J(k day of <br /> ~l,~-t,-~",-/' , 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and the BOYS AND <br />GIRLS CLUB OF THE PENINSULA, a California non-profit corporation <br />("Contractor"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a life skills program (youth intervention) <br />for residents of the City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to <br />Contractor the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Ten <br />Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998, solely for the <br />purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br /> <br />
