AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> CHILD SAFETY PROJECT <br /> <br /> (FAMILY SERVICE AGENCY) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of <br /> <br /> , 1998, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and FAMILY SERVICE <br />AGENCY, a California non-profit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a court ordered supervised child-parent <br />visit program for residents of the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />improve a facility to conduct the Program for residents of City during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to <br />Contractor the sum of Thirteen Thousand, Five Hundred and no/100 Dollars <br />($13,500.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance.
