ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> HERON COURT NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK CENTER <br /> <br /> (HERON COURT COOPERATIVE, INC.) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this o~ day of )~t,~ <br />2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Heron Court Cooperative, Inc., a <br />California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides Heron Court Neighborhood Network Center; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), which is <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1,2002, and ending June 30, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing <br />the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Five Thousand and Fifty Dollars ($5,050) from its <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of Five <br />Thousand and Fifty Dollars ($5,050) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 2002, and ending June 30, 2003, solely for the purposes <br />described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />Service.agr <br />10/8/0 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
