<br />DES:mf 8/6/81 <br /> <br />8930 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 1 0 1981 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING VALUE OF WRITTEN PROTESTS <br />FILED AND NOT WITHDRAWN, AND ORDERING TERRITORY <br />ANNEXED UNDER THE DESIGNATION OF "ANNEXATION O~ <br />HORGAN RANCH TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY (25.2- <br />ACRES) " <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8892 adopted July 6, <br /> <br />1981, proceedings were initiated for the annexation of that <br /> <br />certain territory described in Exhibit A hereof attached hereto <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein under the distinctive <br /> <br />short form designation assigned by the Local Agency ~rmation <br /> <br />Commission of the County of San Mateo, California ("LAFCO") <br /> <br />of "Annexation of Horgan Ranch to the City of Redwood City <br />+ <br />(25.2- acres)"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution No. 8892 hearing was <br /> <br />held on the proposed annexation, and evidence received, by this <br /> <br />Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited <br /> <br />and the value of the written protests filed and not withdrawn <br /> <br />with respect to the proposed annexation is as hereinafter stated; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds that, with respect to the <br /> <br />proposed annexation of the territory described in Exhibit A hereof <br /> <br />under the distinctive short form designation of "Annexation of <br />+ <br />HOrgan Ranch to the City of Redwood City (25.2- acres)", written <br /> <br />protests have been filed and not withdrawn by owners of land <br /> <br />and improvements who own less than fifty (50) percent of the total <br /> <br />assessed value of land and improvements within said territory, <br /> <br />8930 <br />
