<br />, <br /> <br />SWC:djg-c <br /> <br />7/16/81 <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUl 2 7 1981 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8918 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH HUMAN INVEST~ffiNT PROJECT, INCORPORATED <br />FOR SHARED HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Project Incorporated, is presently <br /> <br />engaged in the operation of a Shared Housing Program and desires <br /> <br />to conduct a Shared Housing Program to residents of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Project Incorporated has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents <br /> <br />I <br />of the City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1981, and ending <br /> <br />June 30, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood ciity has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to allocate to Human Investment Project Incorporated the sum <br /> <br />of Twelve Thousand Three Hundred eighty four and no/lOO Dollars <br /> <br />($12,384.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Human Investment <br /> <br />Project Incorporated and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve the same; <br /> <br />NO~\T THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/l6/8l), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Human Investment Project Incorporated, a copy <br /> <br />of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 918 <br />
