<br />~GM:djg-c 7/13/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8912 <br /> <br />ORIGIN/,L <br />~UL 2 0 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF REDWOOD CITY'S <br />1980-81 PARKING LOT NO. 7 RESURFACING PROJECT; REJECTING ALL <br />OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREElffiNT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8863 adopted June 1, 1981, <br /> <br />the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of Parking Lot <br /> <br />No. 7 Resurfacing Project for fiscal year 1980-81 in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fisk Firenze & McLean,Inc., Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Fisk Firenze & <br /> <br />Mc Lean, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDvlOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Fisk Firenze & McLean, Inc. in the total amount of <br /> <br />Forty-six Thousand six hundred sixty-three and no/lOO Dollars <br /> <br />($46,663.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />June 30, 1981, for the abovementioned construction in accordance <br /> <br />with those specifications entitled "Special provisions for Construction <br /> <br />of Redwood City's Parking Lot No.7 Resurfacing Project 1980-81" <br /> <br />(including all plans and specifications referenced therein) is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> <br />hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain <br /> <br />8 912 <br />
