DES:dj~ 05/22/95 (120/39) <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> 6/5/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12479 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER <br /> SOFTWARE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION AND <br /> COMMUNITY SERVICES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase of computer software for the <br />Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services of the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation one bid was received; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sierra Digital, Inc. of Sacramento, California, was <br />the only responsible bidder to meet the bid specfications for <br />both the recreation registration and facility management computer <br />software; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br /> <br />Sierra Digital, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Sierra Digital, Inc. for the sale of <br />computer software (RecWare Registration and Facility Management <br />Software) to the City of Redwood City in an amount not to exceed <br />Sixteen Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($16,000.00) in accordance <br />with said bidder's proposal dated May 19, 1995, is hereby <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the only <br />responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids without <br />advertisement for said purchase. <br /> <br /> <br />
