DES:dj~ 05/11/95 (041/34) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 5/22/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12474 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> ONE (1) XEROX 5355 COPIER UNDER THE COOPERATIVE <br /> PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES BID <br /> BPA #010580107 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles, Bid BPA #010580107 <br />includes a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other <br />public agencies the opportunity to purchase equipment from Xerox <br />Corporation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the County of Los Angeles <br />conforms to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />purchase one (1) Xerox 5355 Copier from Xerox Corporation <br />pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the County of <br /> <br />Los Angeles Bid BPA 9010580107; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) Xerox <br /> 5355 Copier and one year maintenance agreement from Xerox <br /> Corporation for a total cost of Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred <br /> <br /> <br />
