5/14/01 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14220 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF MASTER AGREEMENT FOR STATE TRANSPORTATION <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS (STIP) FUNDING PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation ( "Caltrans ") <br />administers the State Transportation Improvement Projects ( "STIP ") Funding <br />Plan pursuant to the provisions of Streets and Highways Code Section 163 et <br />seq; and <br />WHEREAS, Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements, <br />Fund Exchange Agreements and Fund Transfer Agreements are required to <br />implement said Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, a Master Agreement has been presented to this Council <br />pursuant to which the City may enter into project- specific program supplement <br />agreements; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Master Agreement — Administering <br />Agency — State Agreement for State Funded Projects ", (District 04 — Agreement <br />No. 000029 City of Redwood City — Administrating Agency) effective as of March <br />27, 2001, by and between the City of Redwood City and the State of California, <br />Department of Transportation, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and <br />Reso-1142 1 <br />Shared/Redwood/Council <br />DES:djk <br />04/30/01 <br />
