<br />AfFIDAVIT OF POSTING NOTICES TO DESTROY WEEDS <br /> <br />State ot California ) <br />. <br />. <br />County of San Mateo) <br /> <br />SSe <br /> <br />C. L. DIMMITT, being :first duly sworn, <br /> <br />deposes and says: that he is now and was during all the times herein <br /> <br />mentioned the duly apPQinted, qualified and acting Street Superintendent <br /> <br />of the City ot Redwood City, county and state aforesaid. <br /> <br />That on the 1st day of April, 1935, the Council of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City passed Resolution Deelaring Nuisance No. R-l declaring <br /> <br />that noxious or dangerous weeds were growing upon all the side~alks, <br /> <br />streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways in said city, and <br /> <br />upon all of the lots and property in said city which weeds are of a <br /> <br />kind which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and will attain such <br /> <br />large growth as to become a fire menace when dry, and that said weeds <br /> <br />constitute a.public nuisance. <br /> <br />That after the passage of said Resolution Declaring Nuisance <br /> <br />No. R-l he caused to be conspicuously posted along all the sidewalks, <br /> <br />streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways in said city upon <br /> <br />which said noxious or dangerous weeds are growing, and in front of all <br /> <br />private property upon which such weeds are growing, at not more than <br /> <br />one hundred (100) feet in distance apart, notices entitled "NOTICE TO <br /> <br />. -- . <br /> <br />DESTROY WEEDS", a popy_ot:_~_~!.~~.. notices so posted as aforesaid is annexed <br /> <br />""""'~"'\"""""'~'~""'ol".;:L1-'.' <br /> <br />hereto and made a part hereof. <br />That the posting of said notices was completed on the~(Q"'!>>day of <br />April, 1935. <br /> <br />@~~ <br />Street Super tendent of the <br />Ci ty of Redwood City <br /> <br />Subscribed and sworn to before me <br />t~s 6th day of Kay, 1935. <br /> <br />
