EE:SOLUTION REQUIRING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did, on the 16th day of March, 1936, pass and adopt Resolution Declaring Nuisance No.8-I, in which resolution it was declared certain noxious or dangerous weeds were growing upon all of the sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways in said city and upon all of the lots and property in said city, which weeds are of a kind which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and will attain such large growth as to become a fire menace when dry, and that said weeds constitute a public nuisance. p~D WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. S-l the Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City duly and regularly posted notices of the passage of said resolution in time, form, number and manner as required by law. AND WHEREAS, at the time fixed in said notices and in said resolution when objections to the removal of such weeds would be heard and given consideration by the Council of said City of Redwood City, no objections of any kind were made against the removal of such weeds, and said Council now having acquired jurisdiction thereon: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the Superintendent of streets of said city be and he is hereby ordered and directed to abate the nuisance existing as specified and set forth in said Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. S-l as provided by law. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of April, 1936, by the following vote: Ayes and in favor-of the passage of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen: , , , , , Noes and against the passage of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen: , , , ,
