ORiGff AL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> FACILITY RENOVATIONS <br /> <br /> (COMMUNITY GATEPATH) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br /> <br />2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and COMMUNITY GATEPATH, a <br />California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor desires to renovate/improve its facility (the "Project), <br />located at 875 Stanton Road, Burlingame, California, which provides services to <br />individuals with disabilities who are residents of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to complete <br />the Project that will benefit residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />2002, and ending June 30, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and the Project and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) from its <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 2002, and ending June 30, 2003, solely for the <br />purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br />Paragraph 1 solely for the Project purposes described in Exhibits A (Budget) and <br />Exhibit B (Contractor Objectives), attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br />herein. <br /> <br />Const.
