<br />RESOLUTION DECLARING NUISANCE NO. 1937-2 <br /> <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that whereas, <br /> <br />certain weeds are growing in the City of Redwood City upon all of the <br /> <br />sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways in said city <br /> <br />and upon all the lots and property in said city, which weeds are of a kind <br /> <br /> <br />which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and will attain such large <br /> <br />growth as to become a fire menace when dry; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said weeds constitute a public nuisance. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that the said weeds do now <br /> <br />constitute and will continue to constitute a public nuisance and it is <br />hereby ordered that the public nuisance be abated intlm manner provided <br /> <br />by Ordinance No. 333 of the City of Redwood City, passed and adopted on <br /> <br />the 14th day of March, 1932, which ordinance is now on file in the office <br /> <br />of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City and to which reference is hereby <br /> <br />made and the same is made a part hereof. <br /> <br />The sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways upon <br /> <br />which, and the lots and property upon which such nuisance exists, are all <br /> <br />the sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways and all the <br /> <br />lots and property in said City of Redwood City and all the lots and propert: <br /> <br />fronting upon the sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and high- <br /> <br />ways in said City of Redwood City. <br />The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> <br />directed to give the notice required by said' ordinance, and he shall cause <br /> <br />said notices to be immediately posted in front of the property, as deslgnatl <br /> <br />in this resolution. <br /> <br />ih nIJ_; (J <br />Tha t Monday, the I q day of ~ <br /> <br />, 1937, at the hour of <br /> <br />8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, at the meeting place of the Council of said <br />City of Redwood City, in the Co~~cil Chamber in the Firehouse on Middlefiel< <br />Road in said City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, state of California~ <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby fixed as the day, hour and place when objections <br />to the removal of such weeds will be heard and given due consideration, and <br />
