<br />WHEREAS, in the untimely death of John Gill, Superintendent of Schools, A <br />member of the City .Planning Commi ssion and of the Board of Library Trustees, the City <br />has lost one of its foremost and most beloved citizens. <br />NOW, THEREFORE t BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />that the untimely death of John Gill is greatly mourned and that said Council hereby <br />expresses its sincere sorrow for the irreparable loss of one of our city officialso <br />.AND BE IT FURcI'EER RESOLVED that the condolences of the City Council are <br />hereby expressed to the family of said deceased. <br />AND BE I'll If'URTBER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the minutes <br />of this meeting and a copy thereof be forwarded to the fandly of said deceased. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 5th day of April, 1937, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution, <br />L.
