<br />"""'t <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did, on the <br />20th day of March, 1939, pass and adopt Resolution Declaring Nuisance <br />No. 1939-2, in which resolution it was declared that noxious or dan- <br />gerous weeds were growing upon all the Sidewalks, streets, avenues, <br />roads, boulevards and highways in said city, and upon all the lots <br />and property in said city, which weeds are of a kind which bear seeds <br />of a wingy or downy nature and will attain such large growth as to <br />become a fire menace when dry, and that said weeds constitute a pub- <br />lic nuisance. <br />AND WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolution Declaring <br />Nuisance No. 1939-2, the Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood <br />City duly and regularly caused to be posted notices of the passage of <br />said resolution in time, form, manner and number as required by law. <br />AND WHEREAS,-at the time fixed in said notices and in said <br />resolution when Objections to the removal of such weeds would be heard <br />and given consideration by the Council of the City of Redwood City, no <br />objections of any kind were made against the removal of said weeds, <br />and said Council now having acquired jurisdiction thereon: <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City that the Superintendent of Streets of said city be and he is here- <br />by ordered and directed to abate the nuisance existing as specified <br />in said Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. 1939-2, and as provided by law. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at <br />a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of April, 1939, by the <br />following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen. <br />
