<br />RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, did, on the <br />17th day of March, 1941, pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No. <br />1941-1, in which resolution it was declared that noxious or d~~gerous <br /> <br />weeds were growing upon all the sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boule. <br /> <br />vards and highways in said city, and upon all the lots and property in <br /> <br />said city, which weeds are of a kind which bear seeds of a wingy or <br /> <br />downy nature and will attain such large growth as to become a fire men- <br /> <br />ace when dry, and that said weeds constitute a public nuisance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolu~ion of Intention No. <br />1941-1, the street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City duly and <br />regularly caused to be posted notices of the passage of said resolution <br /> <br />in time, form, manner and number as required by law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the time fixed in said notices and in said resolution <br />when objections to the removal of such weeds would be heard and given <br />consideration by the Council of the City of Redwood City, no objections <br /> <br />of any kind were made a€ainst the removal of said weeds, mld said Council <br /> <br />now having acquired jurisdiction thereof: <br /> <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution: <br />
