P -3050 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />2009 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Civic Cultural Commission of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />recommends cultural events to the City of Redwood City, and more particularly <br /> <br />to the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Port of Redwood City endorses the goals and principles <br /> <br />of the Civic Cultural Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Civic Cultural Commission has communicated a need for <br /> <br />funding for the 2009 Summer Concert Series and other programs; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Port of Redwood City will contribute a sum of Seven <br />Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00) to the Parks, <br />Recreation and Community Services Department to promote <br />the 2009 Summer Concert Series. <br /> <br />2.
